Get involved
The Women of Morton United Methodist Church are very active and involved in the service and support of many ministries both locally and around the globe. Any woman who attends MUMC is very welcome to volunteer and help us make a difference!
2022 marks our 17th Annual Craft Market! Members of our four circles, as well as Members at Large (those not affiliated with a particular circle), enjoy spending time together planning for this big fund-raiser held each November.
our 2022 focus for our UMW will be Climate Justice and Criminalization of Communities of Color highlighting health and family needs of women and children around the globe. Despite these efforts, maternal and child mortality remains a significant global challenge. Help us to create a safe space for women and children in our communities.
Book Club — Begun in 2015, our UMW Book Club continues in 2022. We will meet on Jan. 25, March 29, May 31, Sept. 27 and Nov. 29 in the Music Room at church beginning at 6:30 p.m. Please reference Footprints for book selections..
We work closely with our MUMC’s Outreach Committee and the Caring Ministries of our church. Contact the church office for more information! Our focus is hands-on volunteer work.
